Most Questionable Review Site

I have to say that I am putting this up because it’s by far the most biased review I have read to date.  Sadly it also seems to be the most popular and that worries me.

It needs to be said that the only mission of this site is to make all other mills look bad except the Country Living.  It is subtle and its working.  I have researched this site and cannot get anyone to answer me.  I checked the IP addresses and they are from the same IP company as the Country Living.  Please keep in mind that while some of the reviews are fairly accurate and similar to what I’ve found across the internet, however, the Review on the GrainMaker Grain Mill is utterly harsh and entirely false in some instances, such as how hard it is to turn. Yes I am a Montanan like the GMGM however, I have been to the shop and actually tested the GrainMaker.  I have joint issues that make some days very painful for me and I was still able to mill bread flour and coffee.

The reviews were done in such a way to appear unbiased and also from another ‘source’ as well.  I have been through that site over and over again. It was one of the reasons I went to Bitterroot Tool and Machine’s shop to test the GrainMaker myself.   I’ve tested the 3.5 inch burrs, their 5inch burrs and their 6inch burrs. The 6inch is the easiest because the burrs are the largest. I am completely in love with their No. 116. it looks exactly like all the antique mills and is simply beautiful. I can’t wait to afford one.  Are they expensive?  Yes, but they will last longer than I will and that definitely makes the investment worth it.  Remember when you are buying a mill it is an investment and should be approached as such.

With the GrainMaker there are no tiny keys or pieces to lose and for me that is a HUGE selling point. Also, after talking with Randy and Bonnie Jones I know they would never post such an ugly and obviously faked review and comments just to hurt their competition.  I am sure that the Country Living Grain Mill’s owners had something to do with this. I’ve even called them to talk about their mill in comparison to the GrainMaker. The man on the phone even told me that GM’s paint was toxic. How immature and disgusting. (side note GrainMaker doesn’t use paint, they use powder coating on the outside of their mill)

I decided to post this page because it needs to be out there that this is NOT an accurate or independent review site.  I have been reviewing both of these mill companies because they are both American companies and that is the biggest selling point for me.   After testing the GrainMaker and talking to Country Living over the phone there is no question which company has more integrity.

Please if you have read this review, think back on it skeptically. If you never have, read it with a grain of salt.
